Because of his passion for helping people, Mike became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2002. He has over 25 years of experience helping people through difficult issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, divorce and addiction. He enjoys helping people overcome past trauma and claim their true identity. He believes it is very important to give back to our veterans and first responders by providing them with the highest quality of care. He has expertise with ADHD and loves helping people with ADHD learn to get the most out of their amazing brains. One of the things Mike enjoys the most is helping teens and men of all ages overcome their Dad wounds. All too many men have been abandoned, abused, or never knew their Dad, and helping those men heal and reclaim their true value is a great honor that Mike treasures.

Mike is a Christian and has had the honor of walking side by side with Christian leaders as they work their way through difficult times. He greatly enjoys helping families wade through the challenges of parenting children, and likes to joke that he “speaks teen.”

Mike grew up sailing and exploring the woods around his house in upstate New York. He's always felt most connected to God when around water, woods or mountains. When it came time to create the logo for his business, Mike was drawn to the nautical anchor because it reminds him of the freedom of sailing, and it also represents how what he does is anchored in faith.

Mike is a family man. He and his wife have been together since 2000. He is a devoted father of two daughters. During his off time, Mike loves tinkering in his shop. He's an amatuer furniture designer and builder, knife maker and welder. He loves pickleball, mountain biking and being out in nature.
